About Michael....

I was born on January 10, 1974 in the Washington DC area, and I was raised in Macon, GA where I went to a private school called Central Fellowship Christian Academy until I graduated High School in 1992. In the Fall of 1992, I started my freshman year at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where I received a degree in Business Marketing in the Spring of 1997. While I was at Liberty, I ran track and field specializing in the pole vault and the decathlon. I also led the worship at Liberty University which led me into a concert ministry after I graduated from Liberty. From 1997 til 2004, I primarily did itinerant music ministry, and in 2004 I began to serve in the local church at First Baptist Church of the Islands in Savannah, GA, in music ministry. In the Fall of 2006 til the Fall of 2007 I coached track and field at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, while still continuing in music ministry. In the Fall of 2007, I moved to Chattanooga, TN, and began to serve at New Heights Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA where I served in music ministry until August 2016. In August 2016, I accepted the position as assistant pastor at GraceWorks church in Chattanooga, TN, where I will still have the privilege to serve in music as well as other roles.
